Privacy Policy

Pay Once: Photo Picker is made by Origamies LLC. This policy is short because the app does very little with your data.
The short version
- No account and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email, or anything else about you.
- Your photos never leave your phone. The app needs access to your photo library to work. It reads and deletes photos on your device only. We never see, upload, receive, or store your photos.
- We run no servers that the app talks to. There is no database of users.
- You pay once. The app is a paid download handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
What does leave your phone
Three things. None of them include your photos or anything that identifies you to us.
- Place names for photos. To show where a photo was taken, the app sends that photo's location coordinates to Apple's geocoding service and gets back a place name. Only the coordinates go, never the photo. If a photo has no location, nothing is sent. This runs through Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
- Ad measurement through Meta. We advertise the app on Facebook and Instagram. To know whether those ads work, the app includes Meta's software development kit (SDK). It reports to Meta that the app was installed and opened, along with basic device information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and IP address. We have turned Meta's tracking setting off. The app never asks for permission to track you, never accesses your advertising identifier, and never sends Meta your photos or anything you do inside the app beyond opening it. Meta's handling of this data is described in Meta's privacy policy.
- Apple's ad attribution. If you installed the app after seeing an ad, Apple's operating system may send the ad network an anonymous, aggregated signal that an install happened. This comes from Apple, not from the app, and contains no identifier for you or your device.
What we don't do
- No analytics, crash reporting, or usage tracking.
- No selling or sharing of your data. We have nothing to sell.
- No ads inside the app.
Children
We don't collect personal information from anyone, children included.
